Associate designer

Associate designer
This position is one step above an assistant designer (but not yet ready to be responsible for a complete collection), who assists the designer in all aspects of the design process. The position requires strong technical knowledge in garment development and construction, fabric/trim sourcing skills, and good sketching skills to be able to create presentation boards. Communication and organizational skills are mandatory to facilitate follow-up with factories. The abilities to spec and flat sketch, together with strong computer skills, are a must.
